Lead the Pack

Lead the Pack is an exceptional student-led program at Seven Springs Middle School. For the past three years, SSMS received an award from the state of Florida Learn and Serve Program that allowed the students to award mini-grants to multiple projects throughout the school. These projects then servered the community in areas from tutoring to character education to environmental preservation to multiple sclerosis awareness. Not only did these 25 students empower the students and teachers of our school to address community needs, but the 25 students themselves made significant improvement on their FCAT scores. Thus, we have a program that creates citizen scholars!
